Affordable Housing Solutions

Everyone Deserves A Place To Call Home

Affordable housing is becoming an increasingly urgent issue as rising costs outpace wages, leaving many individuals and families struggling to find safe, stable places to live. Ensuring access to affordable housing strengthens communities, supports economic stability, and promotes overall health and well-being.

Emergency Shelter

A Lifeline in Times of Crisis, a Pathway to Stability

Emergency shelter is a critical and growing need as more individuals and families face sudden housing crises, often with nowhere else to turn for immediate safety. Safe Harbour helps stabilize lives in moments of crisis and provides the foundation for longer-term housing solutions.

Every act of kindness tells a story... and what a story this has been.

As our Christmas in July campaign comes to a close, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make this month so special. Through your generosity, encouragement, and support, we've shared the story of how a community can come together to provide shelter, support, and stability for our neighbors experiencing homelessness.

A very special thank you to Create-A-Palooza for hosting Santa's Sleigh throughout the month and serving as a collection site for product donations. Your partnership made it easy for our community to give back and helped fill our shelves with much-needed essentials.

We're also incredibly grateful to Santa Claus from Kringle and Krampus for spending the month with us. From making beds and stocking pantry shelves to visiting with children, volunteering alongside our staff, reviewing affordable housing plans, and helping tell our story, thank you for bringing so much joy, compassion, and Christmas spirit to Safe Harbour this July.

And to everyone who donated, volunteered, shared our posts, encouraged others to support our mission, or plans to get involved in the future... Thank you. You helped make this campaign a success, and your kindness will continue making a difference long after Christmas in July has ended.

There's still time to help write the next chapter. Make a financial gift today by visiting safeharbour.org/donate/

Thank you for helping us bring hope home. Not just during the holidays, but every day of the year.

Christmas in July

In the spirit of giving, Christmas in July brings holiday cheer to the summer season while supporting Safe Harbour’s mission. Through donation drives, fundraising challenges, and community engagement activities, the campaign reminds us that homelessness knows no season, and neither should generosity. Every gift collected helps provide shelter, food, and stability for individuals and families throughout the year.
